  1. 22-40 years old,,,,guess they do not want experience and knowledge.Bet the salary goes the same way,,,low.

    1. You make some good points. The young ones may not have as much experience and they definitely work the same job for a lower salary. But more than anything, you sound offended. I'm sure that the reason that they want 22-40 year old nurses is not that they don't want experience and knowledge. I bet it's because they want nurses who are healthy enough to work half way across the world without needing light duty days because of the back pain that so many older nurses have. Or maybe they don't want someone who is stuck in their old ways bringing their own ideas and practices into a different country where things may be done differently. All that PLUS the fact that they can pay them less.

We now live in a world where hospitals are money-making business corporations. They are no longer the caring charities from the time of Florence Nightingale. The decisions that they make are designed to make and save them money. Having the best and brightest nurses does not achieve that goal, unfortunately.

    2. You are definitely right mate.It is truly not the best and the brightest that achieve the goal but the more determined and the willing ones to help make achieve it.

  2. Hi. Is there other to get in or apply without a 2yrs experience in a hospital? Ang do you hiring in australia as well?
