Dublin Academic Teaching Hospitals need 400 nurses

Chesham Recruitment Inc., a POEA-licensed agency, posted online that they are in need of 400 nurses for five Dublin Academic Teaching Hospitals (DATH) in Dublin, Ireland.



Chesham Recruitment has partnered with CPL Healthcare in sending many Philippine nurses to Ireland.

CPL Healthcare is Ireland’s largest healthcare staffing organization and is the exclusive partner to Ireland’s Health Service
Executive across a number of staffing categories and regions. The company has been in operation for over 20 years and it recruits on average more than 1600 temporary staff and 700 permanent staff each week, across a number of healthcare categories including Nursing, Allied Health, Social Care and Healthcare Assistants.

The agencies have concluded another very successful recruitment drive for all of the five DATH’s hospitals in July 2015.

The five DATHs are Beaumont Hospital, Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, St. James´s Hospital, St. Vincent´s University Hospital, and Tallaght Hospital / AMNCH.

MANDATORY APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
 Must be a graduate from a four year BSN Degree program.
 Must be continuously and currently working for two years, full time, on a volunteer, contract or permanent basis, in the same position as that being applied for, in a hospital containing at least 200 beds. Nurses in large prestigious hospitals who do not yet have the required two years of relevant experience are welcome to apply, provided that the two years of continous work will be achieved by the end of 2015.
 Must possess or achieve an overall minimum academic IELTS score of 7.0, with a minimum of 6.5 in Listening; a minimum of 6.5 in Reading; a minimum of 7.0 in Writing; a minimum of 7.0 in Speaking. No exceptions to the required scores are allowed and NO OTHER IELTS TEST IS ACCEPTABLE TO THE NMBI, INCLUDING THE UKVI ACADEMIC IELTS TEST.

 Must already have also begun the process of NMBI registration or must start this process immediately, if the minimum IELTS scores listed above have already been achieved.
 Must be between 22 and 45 years old.
 Must be very professional in all aspects of work, with the patient always being the primary focus.
 Must be outgoing and assertive, with the confidence to be personally accountable for patient actions taken and to be able to lead a team of multi-national student nurses, after successfully passing your own probationary period.

ON OFFER:
 A permanent position - up to retirement age - subject to a successful adaptation and assessment period of 6 weeks, extendable to 12 weeks.
 A gross annual salary of €29,205, after the successful completion of the adaptation and assessment period. The starting salary will be higher depending on the number of years of experience and there are regular salary increments. The salary paid during the adaptation and assessment period will be €13,207.28 - that of a Student Nurse - as per Irish
labor regulations.
 Payment of a shift differential.
 An initial Contract of Employment of two years, to comply with immigration regulations.
 Free airline ticket from Manila to Dublin.
 Free initial six weeks accommodation for those undertaking adaptation.
 €495 NMBI registration costs reimbursed - €350 Overseas Application Assessment and €145 Overseas Registration Fee.
 Initial Entry Visa to Ireland and related visa processing costs at the Consulate of Ireland in Manila reimbursed - €250 visa
cost and PhP 4,000 + processing costs.
 POEA processing costs reimbursed - currently PhP 3,820.
 No Placement Fee.
 Free Irish Employment Permit, because the DATH’S are registered as ‘charitable foundations’ under Irish law. The normal fee for the Employment Permit is €1,000.
 25 days annual vacation, plus 9 public holidays.
 39 hours per week, on a rostered basis.

* A description of some of the major specific types of cases in which you have experience, together with a listing of the major equipment you have handled must be placed on your resume. There is no need to provide a long listing of cases and equipment.
* If you are holding a current IELTS test result which meets the minimum requirements listed above, please place your overall score, your individual component scores and the date of the test on your resume. If your IELTS test scores do not meet the minimum requirements, or if they have expired, please do not place them on your resume.
* Two professional reference contacts must be placed on your resume, including their work location land line telephone numbers and their email addresses. Your references must be must from your two most recent nursing experiences and this can include voluteer work, if necessary. Each reference contact must be in a nursing supervisor/management position directly related to your work. * Since the Dublin Academic Teaching Hospitals (‘DATH’s’) are public hospitals, they are required to do a “Verification of Service” (‘VOS’) on all new employees, to confirm the experience they hold, which in turn confirms the point of the Irish Health Services Executive (‘HSE’) nursing salary scale on which the employee will be placed.
