Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado welcomed the 19-man delegation from Japan at the Capitol last Monday and met on how the Philippines’ health workers can help the Japanese people care for their sick and elderly citizens.
The project was launched at the Global Arcs Technical and Vocational School, Inc. on Daila Street, Alido Heights Subdivision with a training program for the first batch of the Filipino nurses and caregivers to learn Nihongo, the language of the Japanese.
The delegation included Tazuko Nagai, Kiyomi Mori, Naoko Toyuma, Takemichi Ichioka, Masumi Totani, Masako Nakagama, Natsuko Kikushi, Emiko Miyaguchi, Takumi Kishida, Yoko Enami, Shuichi Ogino, Toshio Iwata, Yoshinki Fujiwara, Yukako Ueno, Hiromichi Yamada, Eiji Fujino and Taketo Nakanishi.
“Our province is known for its noble heroes. It is also blessed with skilled and professional workers. Today, Bulacan is a leading choice for foreign and local investments,” Alvarado said.
He thanked the Japanese for bringing the base of their program in Bulacan, giving Bulakeños greater access to the opportunity to a good-paying job in Japan. [via Source]
