A fellow Filipino worker has been arrested in connection with the murder of a Filipino nurse at his accommodation last Sunday, a source from the Philippine Embassy reported.

A new development in the case had surfaced on Thursday. According to the source, the two had gotten into separate relationships and had grown apart. The nurse had invited the suspect to his accommodation, where they had had a huge fight.

Police said that a government hospital representative had reported the victim missing at a local police station.

It was then that police visited the accommodation and found the victim in a pool of blood with a stab wound to his neck.
According to an online OFW website, the victim had not been reachable on his phone since March 16. In fact, his last Facebook post was dated March 15.

According to one of the victim’s family members, Dultra apparently visited a mall before his death.
